Kelly & Hayes typically restocks best-selling Unistrut products every 4-6 weeks. Some items may have longer lead times depending on factory stock or if the product is a special order. Please reach out to Kelly & Hayes to confirm.
Kelly & Hayes typically recommends using pre-galvanized for indoor jobs, hot-dipped galvanized for outdoor jobs, plain steel if you are welding, and stainless steel for harsh environments (chemical plants, shoreline locations, etc). Please reference [link to Unistrut blog article] for more information on different Unistrut finishes.
No, Kelly & Hayes does not perform take-offs and cannot provide a full quote based on a drawing. You will need to have a separate firm review the drawing and provide a take-off to determine the quantities you need. While we may be able to make recommendations for parts based on a drawing, all part numbers are subject to the final approval of the customer.
If your Unistrut material must be delivered by truck and the delivery site is located within the New York Metro area, we can typically deliver Unistrut orders within 1-3 working days, depending on truck routing. The delivery cost will be a flat rate depending on the county. Orders outside of the New York Metro area must be delivered via Common Carrier and shipping rates will depend on the delivery location and order volume.
Yes, Kelly & Hayes can cut plain, pre-galvanized, hot-dipped galvanized, and other common channels to length in-house. Most channels are stocked in 20ft lengths and can be cut in half to 10ft with no change to the price per foot. We can also cut to non-standard lengths (to the nearest inch) at an increased price. Cuts will have a kerf of ⅛”. Please note that once the channel is cut, the material will be non-cancellable and non-returnable. In addition, stainless steel channels cannot be cut.
